Private Intelligence · Est. 2025

Your most expensive mistakes rarely come from lack of intelligence.

They come from patterns you cannot see while you are inside them. Personality Lab investigates how you make decisions, how others experience you, and which strategies actually work for you.

Artefacts in your operating manual
Inside the manual

Findings written about you, not about a type.

Every statement in your manual carries a confidence level and a trail of evidence. Nothing is asserted that the evidence cannot carry.

Unlocks with your evidence
  • You reliably choose the harder option when .
  • Your judgement degrades measurably after .
  • Observers describe you as where you describe yourself as — a gap worth money.

From participants
“I have taken every well-known assessment. This is the first one that told me something I could not argue with, because it showed me the evidence.”
Founder, B2B software
“The observer comparison was uncomfortable in the most useful way. Two of my decision rules changed the same week.”
Managing Director, private capital
“It did not describe my personality. It described how I lose money.”

The Problem

Intelligent people still repeat expensive patterns.

01The opportunity that felt right because it was new.
02The conversation delayed until resentment accumulated.
03The project abandoned after the excitement disappeared.
04The purchase that represented identity more than utility.
05The partnership accepted despite warning signs.
06The decision reopened until the opportunity disappeared.
The Difference

Description versus investigation.

Ordinary personality test
  • Asks what you believe about yourself
  • Produces a label or score
  • Gives a generic description
  • Is read once and forgotten
Personality Lab
  • Measures structured behavioural tendencies
  • Investigates contradictions
  • Tests patterns in real life
  • Compares self-perception with observer feedback
  • Runs personal behavioural experiments
  • Links every conclusion to evidence
  • Produces practical decision rules

Personality Lab is a personal-development and decision-support platform. It is not a medical, psychological or psychiatric diagnosis.

If your manual tells you nothing you did not already know, you pay nothing.

Reviewed case by case within 30 days of your manual being issued. We would rather refund you than publish a finding we cannot defend.

Questions

Before you begin.

A test asks what you believe about yourself and returns a label. Personality Lab treats your self-report as one source of evidence, then tests it against scenarios, real-life check-ins, observer accounts and personal experiments. Conclusions carry confidence levels because they were investigated, not assumed.

About 90 minutes of structured work in the first week, then two to three minutes a day of real-life check-ins across 30 days. Your manual updates as evidence accumulates.

Nobody outside the platform. Observers answer about your behaviour without seeing your results. You can view what the platform believes about you, challenge findings, export everything or delete everything permanently.

You can challenge any finding. Challenges are recorded against the evidence trail and the finding is rescored. Low-confidence claims are labelled as such rather than presented as fact.

Yes. Twelve questions, about three minutes, and an initial hypothesis with no card required. It is honestly labelled as unverified — it is the beginning of an investigation, not a conclusion.

You already collect information about your decisions. Start collecting evidence about the person making them.
