Terms of participation
Plain terms for a serious instrument. Read them before you begin — they define what the programme claims, and what it deliberately does not.

What the programme is
- Personality Lab is a structured behavioural investigation. It produces evidence-linked hypotheses about how you decide, work and lead, each carrying an explicit confidence level.
- Findings are probabilistic statements supported by your own data. They are not verdicts, and they are not permanent labels.

What the programme is not
- It is not a medical, psychological or psychiatric service, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.
- It is not a clinical risk assessment, an employment screening tool, or a basis for hiring, firing, promotion or legal decisions about another person.
- If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency service. Our safety review is not a monitored crisis line.

Your responsibilities
- Answer honestly. The instrument is only as accurate as the evidence you supply, and deliberate distortion invalidates the output.
- Use the programme for yourself. Do not create an account on another person's behalf or submit their data as your own.
- Only invite observers who have agreed to be asked, and respect their answers as confidential feedback.
- You must be 18 or older to participate.

Accounts and access
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend accounts used to harass observers, scrape the instrument, or attempt to extract items, scoring rules or other participants' data.

Fees and refunds
- The flagship programme is sold as a single, complete instrument at a fixed fee.
- If you have not yet submitted the deep assessment, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Once scoring has run and your operating manual has been generated, the instrument has been delivered and the fee is non-refundable.

Intellectual property
- The assessment items, construct model, pattern rules and scoring engine remain our property.
- Your responses, your evidence file and your report remain yours. You may export, print and share your own report freely.

Limitation of liability
- You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make. We provide analysis, not advice, and we accept no liability for outcomes arising from actions you choose to take.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fee you paid.

Changes
- The instrument is versioned. Improvements to items or scoring apply to new sessions; your historical scores remain attached to the version that produced them.
- Material changes to these terms will be surfaced in your workspace before they take effect.
Personality Lab is a personal-development and decision-support platform. It is not a medical, psychological or psychiatric diagnosis.
